You would think with the value of the homes in the neighbourhood, people who are unable to maintain their lawns themselves would have the resources to hire a service. These properties are not large and the cost would be minimal. Based on the equity we have all built up, there would be value in maintaining your property…
Speed bumps like they have in the Millcroft and Orchard Neighbourhoods in Burlington would really help slow down traffic. We should start a petition or everyone start making calls to the city and town counselors.
If we make a call to the Halton Police I think we could get one of those radar signs with the seed on it. They have one in Bronte Creek and it has been very effective. I will look into getting one put on Six MIle and Preserve Drive. I think those two streets are the worse.
Stay tuned for an update and if anyone else has time, please make a call. The more that complain, the better chance of them taking action.Looks like they have set up the tents and are planning the Christmas tree lighting. Mattamy put this one last year and based on what I can see they are going to do the same this year. They had treats for the kids and it was a nice event. I’m guessing they will send the home owners an email? I will post if I hear anything further.
